This attack is aimed toward getting access to information like log-in to social media accounts related to that telephone number.

The SBI urged its ‘esteemed’ customers in touch with the bank because it upgrades the UPI platform. 

“We request our esteemed customers in touch with us as we work towards improving our services to supply for an uninterrupted banking experience,” the SBI said during a statement. 

"As SBI is upgrading its UPI platform for better customers experience there could also be intermittent issues on March 14, 2021. The assembly elections in West Bengal are scheduled to be held in eight phases. The voting for phase 1 for 30 constituencies will happen on March 27, voting for phase 2 for 30 constituencies are going to be persisted April 1.

EC finds TMC's report on Nandigram incident 'sketchy', asks chief secy to elaborate.

The committee on Saturday described West Bengal government's report on the Nandigram incident as "sketchy", asking the state Chief Secretary Alapan Bandyopadhyay to "elaborate it" and furnish details like how the alleged attack happened and who might be behind it.

"The report submitted by the West Bengal government seemed to be quite sketchy and with none details of the incident like how it happened or who might be behind it. we've asked the state administration to furnish more details," press agency PTI quoted a poll official as saying.

The West Bengal government had submitted its report over the Nandigram incident on Friday and mentioned the presence of an enormous crowd at the spot but had not mentioned about the "four to five" men who had allegedly attacked Banerjee.

In its report, the TMC government had also said that there was no clear video footage of the alleged attack on the West Bengal Chief Minister in Nandigram.
